EUS Preliminary Result

Today's test showed that the tumor has reduced in size. They also were not able to identify the 2 lymph nodes that were cancerous. Bottom line, the cancer responded to the chemo in a manner that we had wanted. Less bad stuff in my body! Take that cancer! You picked the wrong person to set up house in.

Life is good!

Great news Steve. I've been following your blog since I found out about it in August. But I thought I'd leave you a comment before your surgery, so that you know you have EVEN MORE people pulling for you than you might think. Good luck on Wednesday.

Hi Steve,
Great news!
I enjoyed visiting with you several weeks ago. Thanks for the soccer coaching tips. The rookie boys are 2-0. As promised, here's the dumb joke with possible zen vibes: One beautiful fall morning, E-Man walked out in front of his house to retrieve his newspaper. As he reached down to pick up the paper, E-Man noticed a small snail close by. Without thinking, he scooped the snail up in his hand and threw it up into the air where it landed with a bounce on his neighbor's lawn across the street. ONE YEAR LATER, E-man stepped out on his front walk to pick up his morning paper. As he reached for the paper, E-Man noticed the snail close by. The snail looked up at E-Man and said, "Now just what in the H*** was that all about?"

Good luck with surgery and please know you and yours are continually in our prayers. ~ Chris, Nancy & Grant

Hey, Steve -- great to see you yesterday at the MSI game. Have passed your blog around to the other Saints, and we will keep you very much in mind this Wednesday. Can not wait to see you back on the pitch this spring!
