Hey Steve! It's Wendy-Jimmy and Rubye's daughter. My dad told me about your cancer misadventure last summer, and I've been checking your blog somewhat frequently. Unfortunately, this is the first time I've responded...Loser that I am. Anyway, here it is exactly one year later from the last family visit! Matt was playing baseball with all the "big boys" on the street, and poor Emily was schlepping every form of sidewalk chalk out of your garage for my other one! At the time, I think you had just returned from coaching one of your many soccer games. Well, we will ALL be at my folks' house on Tuesday afternoon, so I hope I'll get to see you this visit.
There have been so many folks that have called and asked about this adventure that I am a bit overwhelmed. I never knew that I knew so many people! I have been truely touched by the outpouring of support, offers of help, prayers, and well wishes. So, I thought that I'd start this blog just before Chemo gets going so that I can keep everyone posted about what's happening. Feel free to comment, add, and post to this spot. Remember that Life is Good and I intend to live it to its fullest. Take care ~ Steve
